Abstract
We now approach an epoch in the history of psychic phenomena of the most transcendent interest and imminent importance: modern psychic experiences. In this, we enter the domain of demonstrable facts that have been incorporated into the great body of modern science; namely, the scientifically verified facts of experimental psychology. Topics in this chapter include mesmerism, telepathy demonstrated by the followers of mesmerism, discovery of the law of suggestion, clairvoyance, mesmeric subjects and mediums, and spiritism as a step in the process of evolution and its effect.
