Kształtowanie się stężenia IFN-γ w surowicy świń z zespołem MMA Badania przeprowadzono na 10 świniach, u których po porodzie wystąpiły objawy MMA (grupa doświadczalna) i 10 zdrowych świniach (grupa kontrolna) pochodzących z jednego gospodarstwa o zamkniętym cyklu produkcyjnym. Stężenie IFN-γ mierzono 48-72 i 12-24 godz. przed porodem oraz 12-24 i 48-72 godz. po porodzie komercyjnym testem ELISA. Badania wykazały statystycznie istotnie wyższe stężenia IFN-γ w surowicy świń grupy doświadczalnej niż grupy kontrolnej zarówno przed porodem, jak i po porodzie. Wskazuje to na udział IFN-γ w patogenezie zespołu MMA. Oznaczanie stężenia IFN-γ w surowicy świń w okresie okołoporo-dowym może być przydatne do wczesnego diagnozowania oraz monitorowania przebiegu tej choroby.
