Abstract

Abstract The article tries to present the atmosphere in Lublin in the last months of peace in 1914. Its aim is to present the information from the local press that influenced local public opinion about European policy and first of all about events of June and July of 1914. Its aim is to find the moment at which an inevitability of war became obvious.
