Arbitration—Place Of Worship Following publication in the last issue of the document settling a war, we are pleased this time to publish an award on the diametrically opposite type of "dispute" the place of worship of two church congregations. We reproduce the award in full and are greatly indebted to the Presbytery of Aberdeen and to our member, Mr. W. Clegg, for having provided the document. PRESBYTERY OF ABERDEEN UNION OF TWO CONGREGATIONS The Congregation of East and Belmont and The Congregation of South both formerly United Free Church of Scotland Remit From Aberdeen Presbytery Within six months from the date of the union, the church to be used as the place of worship for the united congregations and the other buildings to be used for ecclesiastical purposes, shall be determined by a panel of three arbiters appointed by the Presbytery. Arbiters Appointed by Presbytery Rev. Dr. F. W. Rae, D.D., STM. Home Board Mr. J. Lamb, ARIBA Presbytery of Aberdeen Mr. D. J. T. Walker Convener Presbytery Property Committee Mr. Walker was asked to act as convener.
