Re-Examination Of Objectives And Re-Organisation Of The Structure Of The Institute RE-EXAMINATION OF OBJECTIVES AND RE-ORGANISATION OF THE STRUCTURE OF THE INSTITUTE Readers will have been aware that many changes have been taking place in the structure of the Institute over the last two years. Premises and a full-time secretariat have been established at 16, Park Crescent, London; members who were interested in furthering the Institute's objectives have been invited to join in an enlarged Committee structure; and many other moves have been made to establish and equip the Institute for a new phase in the industry. So that the members may be fully apprised of what has happened, the Council have issued the following communication. The Council of the Institute realise that the changing needs of today's society should be reflected in the conduct of the Institute and to ensure that the Institute would be equal to the future demands made upon it com­ missioned a firm of Management Consultants in which a member of Council is the senior partner, and which had had earlier experience of the needs of professional and institutional organisation, to study and make recommendations for the future organisation and structure of the Institute.
