A study of some factors in form board accomplishments of preschool children.Subjects Used in Experiments.

Subjects Used in Experiments. This chapter describes the participants in the form board experiments. A total of 518 children ranging in age from eleven months to six years were used in this study. Of this number eighty children from two to five years of age were included in the preliminary experimentation with the Goddard-Seguin form board. Five children, two and three years of age, were used in the preliminary experimentation with the main series of tests. Eighty-nine children were given the main series of experiments reported in the writer's earlier study. Since that time 344 additional children have been included, some on the original series of tests and some on special paired units. Sources from which children were secured, intelligence quotients, and mental age are also discussed.
