Abstract

[Karl Marx found that the puritanical authority of the bourgeoisie, had drawn from two imposing authoritative western intellectual sources. They were the John Calvin`s interpretation of Protestant Christian religiosity founded on the conception of “providence of God”, and on the Hegelian dialectics. The founding thought that inspired John Calvin was the stoic conception of the “Providence of Nature” that he reinterpreted basing on the Christian doctrines. The nature which is a creation of God provides everyone with everything, and humans have an authority over it as being the chosen creation of God. The other influential principle for the bourgeoisie is the Hegelian interpretation of Aristotelian philosophy, where the absolute of God’s will (thought), is revered. The spiritual authority drawn from the Calvin’s and the Hegelian views founded the core values for the Protestant Christianity that had gone deeply into the making of the bourgeoisie, giving them an undue spiritual authority on wealth of the entire world. In the modern scientific world order, the inception of the “providence of nature” is being interpreted as “wealth”, which needs to be exploited using techno-scientific knowledge that wealth in any form should be exploited to benefit everyone, so the society need not wait for God’s providence.]
