[This chapter focuses on the study of Spanish-language media in Japan. It begins with a deep dive into the founding and development of the newspaper International Press, a pioneer weekly publication that continues to be the most important in the Spanish language in Japan. Following this, the chapter covers various free magazines: Revista Mercado Latino, Kiodai and Kyoday Magazine, Revista Hyogolatino, Revista Mujer Latina, Latin-a, Revista Wakaranai, Impacto Semanal, Acueducto – La Revista Española en Japón, Revista Escape, and Revista Kantō – Arte, Cultura, Literatura, Comunicación. This chapter examines various sections of the newspaper or magazines in Spanish published in Japan, to their hottest topics, as well as to the literature published in them. The final section of this chapter focuses on the founding and development of radio in Spanish throughout Japan.
