It provides the book’s background, primary objective, theoretical orientation, source of textual data, overall content, and summary of the book chapters. Moreover, it clarifies the role of social action in the Christian faith and CST as a Christian guide for reflection, judgment, and social action. It also explains the importance of sociology and the social sciences in providing an empirical foundation for moral situations before making moral judgment and applying CST’s moral principles.
