Abstract
[Topical corticosteroid abuse is a major dermatological problem in Bangladesh. Rampant over the counter sale of potent steroid containing creams is the main reason. These creams are being misused by the ignorant citizens as fairness products or as antifungal creams. The quacks, general physicians, non dermatological physicians and even homeopaths prescribe potent steroids without realising the impending danger from these products. A stringent law and strict application of such law is needed to stop this menace.]
