EU-India Relations: India and the European Union: A Partnership for Joining Forces on the Global... [This chapter highlights the main ideas that shaped the discussions of the research work presented in the workshop and in addition offers an outlook for the EU-India relationship in the context of the recently concluded 15th Summit in July 2020. Divided into three sections, it begins by framing the relations within the current global order wherein multilateralism and multipolarity is being shaped by numerous factors including geopolitics. The next section examines the manner in which EU and India situate their relationship in the context of the role of strategic partnerships and perceptions in a changing world. In this context, it is the perception shift on both sides that has led to the resetting of the agenda within the EU-India Strategic Partnership. To conclude, the chapter offers an outlook for the parties in the context of the changing international order and the newly adopted EU-India Strategic Roadmap to 2025.
