[After nearly two decades of being away, I recently visited the country of my birth, Trinidad and Tobago. I was told by nearly everyone that the country was on a twenty-year plan to become a fully developed nation. I was given many tours of many of the new buildings, including the huge modern library that the government recently built downtown.
