[This chapter explores and empirically corroborates the theoretical framework formulated in the previous chapter. Thus, it explains who and how are the indifferent to past human rights violations in Chile today. It also compares the main characteristics of the different types of indifferent people with those social sectors that are not indifferent. The quantitative analysis is based on the 2013 National Bicentennial Survey. Regarding the causes of indifference, binomial logistic regression highlights four variables: political orientation, socio-economic status, generational cohort, and perception of social conflict.]
