Abstract
[The first chapter introduces the book and the key terms of state crime and terrorism. It also highlights the problematic construction of the ‘war on terror’ and how this construction has facilitated a state centric ‘war on terror’ discourse. The chapter introduces the constitutive theory of radicalization and in representing this theory, it provides models which demonstrate the interactions between the super macro-universal level, the macro-national level, the meso-societal level, the micro-individual-emotional level and violent radicalization.]
