Abstract
[In this paper, I will argue that a critical education about the environment has to be informed with the discussions about an ecosocialist society and a philosophy based on the theoretical premises that the roots of the current environmental crisis lay on social exploitation and the accumulation of capitalist profit. This alternative is based on the theoretical premises of the theoretical synthesis between Marxism and ecology which will be briefly outlined in this work.]
