Asia Pacific translation and intercultural studies: ten years on ASIA PACIFIC TRANSLATION AND INTERCULTURAL STUDIES https://doi.org/10.1080/23306343.2023.2215525 EDITORIAL With this current issue, Asia Pacific Translation and Intercultural Studies (APTIS) enters the tenth year since its first publication in 2014. APTIS publishes three issues per year. Geographically, the term “Asia-Pacific” covers not only the countries in all of Asia and Oceania, but also those located in the Americas which lie along the Eastern Pacific coast. That’s to say, APTIS includes among its authors and readers all the scholars in translation and intercultural studies, domestically and internationally. As an academic journal listed in the ESCI index, APTIS has gradually attracted the professional attention of all the scholars and researchers in an interdisciplinary field coming from diverse cultures, ethnicities, societies, and historical backgrounds. In retrospect, achievements have been made toward realizing this ambition. Over the past 10 years, APTIS has published more than 180 articles by researchers, including dozens of world-renowned scholars in translation and intercultural studies. Recent years have seen the numbers of both subscriptions and submissions growing steadily. More signifi - cantly, its contributors, authors, and readers have come from the entire Asia-Pacific geographical region.
