Though it is obvious that the book’s title is designed for the educational setting, we are pretty sure the key issues offered in each chapter are worth reading, especially for those con- cerned with community and organizational environments. To commence the review, we highlight the main definition of action research (AR), the root of critical action research, and action learning (AL). A scholarly discussion has been made on which AR or AL is considered the umbrella term. Despite this debate, the epistemological underpinning of these two is similar.
