Introduction ETHNIC AND RACIAL STUDIES 2018, VOL. 41, NO. 13, 2255–2256 https://doi.org/10.1080/01419870.2018.1490792 This is the final issue of the Review issues of Ethnic and Racial Studies in 2018. We offer the various contributions included here and in previous issues of the Review as part of an on-going conversation about the changing boundaries of scholarship and research on race and ethnicity in the contemporary environ- ment. Much of what we have been able to include in these issues of the Review has highlighted to us the need for the space it provides to include con- versations about topical issues, books, articles, book review articles and regular book reviews. Although the core role of the journal has been, and will remain, to publish the highest quality research papers in the field of race and ethnic studies we also remain committed to the need to provide space for on-going conversations and debates that cannot be accommodated through regular research papers. This is particularly the case at a time when there are important on-going issues that need to be discussed and explored further by scholars as well as by policy-makers. If any readers would like to suggest to us ideas for further discussions in http://www.deepdyve.com/assets/images/DeepDyve-Logo-lg.png Ethnic and Racial Studies Taylor & Francis
