Presidential Address Review Section: Presidential Address It’s an honor to have the opportunity to serve our 39,000 members as the 91st President of the AAOS. I stand on the shoulders of giants, and the sacrifices Kevin John Bozic, MD, MBA, and contributions of countless leaders who came before me are not lost on me. FAAOS ’d like to ask all of the past Presi- dents of the AAOS who are here with us today to stand and be recognized. In addition to the indelible influence each of you has had on our profession, I owe a huge debt of gratitude to so many of you for the mentorship and support you have generously shown me throughout my career, which have shaped the type of leader and person I am today. One of those giants is my wife Christi, who has stood by me unself- ishly through my 20-year career in orthopaedics while I took on countless volunteer roles, which furthered my own career and offered me opportu- nities to develop as a leader, while requiring substantial sacrifices on her part.
